I don't think I can fully express in the space I have here what an ass-kicking night Friday night was. THANK YOU TO EDL NATION, GOOEY, WEBER BAND, and CLAY WILSON BAND for making Friday, January 6,at the House of Blues a night to remember. Footage is on the Media page right now, with more to come.

We're a little over a week away from our next big show at the House of Blues. Special guest, Pro Blak, has made a couple of pre-show vids that show us all getting together and working out the set. They can be seen here and here. We're all excited, and we know you are as well!

But before that happens, EDL will be featured on Tranquilizer Radio on Monday, January 2, 2012 for their New Music Monday show, starting at 7:00 EST (that's 6:00 Chicago time!). They'll be taking your tweets after the show to let them know how much you enjoyed hearing EDL on their show and if we should be in their rotation or not. So drop what you're doing around that time and get ready to let the people know how much you enjoy EDL!

Big thanks to everyone who came out to the Double Door last Wednesday to cheer us on. Was a great show at one of our favorite venues. But as the man says, if you thought that was a good show, you ain't seen nothing yet!

We are ONE MONTH away from EDL at the House of Blues! Friday, January 6, 2012. If all goes according to plan, we're going to blow away our last performance there. Special guests and all sorts of details coming soon! Tickets can be purchased at the link to your right!

Yes, I've been bad about updating -- my bad. We're still here. Next shows in the works are the last weekend in August -- an acoustic set at the Leland Tap (one of our new favorite places), followed by a full band set at Memories. Details to come soon!

NEW MEMBER

Yes, we bid a fond farewell to Eli Namay. He's leaving to finish his last year of school and concentrate on his other projects. We wish him all the success in the world, and we look forward to supporting each other in the future. Therefore, please join us in welcoming Chris Karcher to the group. Formerly of The Spherical Banana, Chris brings serious style and absolutely dynamite chops to the party. We've performed live with him already at a last-minute show, after a whole week's worth of practice, and it was like he'd been playing with us for years. Welcome to the band, Chris -- you're gonna have a kickass time!

EDL's first full-length album has gone off to the Duplicator. It's coming back this Friday, just in time for our acoustic set at the Elbo Room Upstairs on Saturday (2/26/11). Go to Shows for more info!

2010 has been quite year for us, and 2011 is gearing up to be even wilder! Come celebrate the holidaze and the end of the year with us at one of our favorite venues, the Elbo Room. Will feature new song, more copies of the album will be available for purchase, and maybe even a holiday surprise or two...
