BRAND NEW DRUMMER! Welcome, Bryan
Okun, our new drummer. Bryan is a great
person and an excellent addition to our little
family. His drumming style fits our music
like a glove. To Richie, we had some great
times man! Richie will still be at all our
shows though. Right Richie?

Lincoln. We will be performing with our
friends Pipe Dream which is a great cover

Eleven Dollar Life had a fantastic time
playing Headquarter's in the Quad Cities on
Saturday. One of the best compliments
ever given to the band was given that night.
"This is my 33rd birthday and it's the best
birthday I've ever had." We were in town to
celebrate the birthdays of 2 of our good
friends.

Eleven Dollar Life is coming out with a
brand new 5 song E.P. The CD's should be
ready by mid to late October.  Also, special
thanks to Silvie's for another great show on
Sept. 29th. Silvie's is a great place to have
fun.

Eleven Dollar Life had a great time playing
Silvie's on Wednesday. Special thanks to
Thinktank Music for putting on the show
and making demos featuring all the bands
that played that night. Thinktank is an
amazing recording studio on North Loomis
and we highly recommend them for anyone

has a new bassist. To our old bassist and
dear friend, Brian Smith, thanks for the

everyone for coming out to Emergenza at
the Note. We got 3rd place that night!

The album has been put on a short halt due
to the loss of our beloved drummer, Tori.
No, he's not dead! He's just the proud father
of 1 child and has another on the way.
Although he really wants to continue on
with 11DL, he needs to focus on his family
and we don't blame him. But on the flipside
we have found an equally kick ass
drummer named Richie Balsano. He's the
man! We are still recording the album and
can't wait to hear the finished album.

We have locked ourselves into the
recording studio once again. Haven't seen
light for sometime now. Songs are writing
themselves. Brian got in a fight with his
bass and it won. Old re-runs of Andy Griffith
play quaintly in the background. Cigarettes
and coffee for every meal. NEW SONGS TO

P.S. We won't be booking many shows right
now, due to the recording, but are still
available for bar mitzvahs and children's
birthday parties.

Eleven Dollar Life play round 3 of the
Emergenza battle of the bands  at

Berg and everyone at Triple Dot Mas for
giving them  the opportunity to have a great
show at the Double Door on March 18th.

Thanks so much!!  to everyone who
came out to cheer on Eleven Dollar Life at
the Emergenza battle of the bands on
Thursday at the Note. Eleven Dollar Life
placed 2nd thanks to you and will be
moving on to the Double Door in May for the
semi-finals. The band was also filmed that
night for an airing on the tv series "Dude,
Turn that Up" produced by Columbia
College. Downloads of the footage will be
available to you soon.

be playing an acoustic set at Fearon's
(3001 N. Ashland) Don't worry though, it
won't be a lame, fall asleep acoustic show,
11DL will rock the house with plenty of
energy to keep you up!

Dollar Life ties for 2nd place at Emergenza
International Music Festival and is moving
on to round 2 in March. Thanks to all of you
who came out and voted. It was an
interesting night with many different music
styles being represented.

Eleven Dollar Life will be participating in the
Emergenza International Music Festival
December 2nd at the Note in Wicker Park.
This Event is a battle of the bands, this
being the first round of many. They will be
playing for only 30 minutes so be sure to
show up on time! Eleven Dollar Life needs
your votes so they can continue on and
maybe eventually end up in Germany!
